Adroit, powered by Adroit Interactive LLC, is an ASP-based platform that allows advertisers to instantaneously alter components of Flash display ads in real time without having to redesign, rebuild or re-traffic an existing ad, allowing a single ad template to become unlimited versions of itself. Adroit's patent pending technology allows us to deliver relevant, targeted content to individuals, but not at the expense of individual privacy.
Content Served through Adroit Technology
Adroit Interactive firmly believes in the importance of online privacy for its advertisers, publishers and users. Adroit does not collect any personally-identifying information before, during or after the delivery of its clients’ advertisements.
Adroit’s technology may employ cookies to collect non-personally identifying information in the course of providing its clients with its ad-serving services and for the purpose of helping its clients determine which advertisement is suitable to be delivered to a user. A cookie is a small text file that can be stored on a user’s computer when that computer’s browser views one of Adroit’s client's advertisements or websites. The cookie is associated with and unique to the specific computer. The cookie does not contain the user’s name, address, phone number, email address, or anything that personally identifies it. Adroit collects into the cookie only non-personally identifying information such as the type of the computer’s operating system, type of internet browser software, what web pages were viewed and at what time and geographic location of user's internet service provider.
Sometimes clients will send us anonymous information they collected online during transactions so we can provide targeted messaging and analyze if our messaging has resulted in sales. In this process, the information that we receive is completely anonymous to Adroit. This information relates to online transactions, including, but not limited to, the client-assigned user's ID, transaction sales total, product ID, and other demographic data. Adroit does not receive any information from our clients in this process that would allow us to identify any individual. Adroit uses transaction log files to generate aggregated reporting data for Clients. Adroit generally retains these log files of individual online advertisements for a minimum of 90 days and summary information for up to three years, but we reserve the right to retain such data as long as may be reasonably necessary for accounting and audit purposes.
In addition to our use of cookies, Adroit also utilizes a common Internet technology called a "web beacon." This technology is also referred to as "action tags" or "clear gifs" in the industry. If the advertiser chooses to use web beacon technology, the advertiser’s web page will contain a clear gif, which would not be visible to the user. Advertisers program the web beacon via Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) to collect certain information about your visit to their web site. This information does not contain any personally identifiable information about you. This anonymous information is returned to Adroit for processing. Our web beacons are usually placed on our clients' websites.
How is this anonymous information secured?
Adroit automatically receives and records certain information through the use of web beacons. We use this information to generate reports for ourselves and our clients, and improve our customer's campaigns and ads. This information may include the URL from which you just came, your computer browser information, operating system, IP address, and other information about your internet experience.
We store this anonymous information securely at our data centers. Adroit has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control, including password controls.
Changes to This Document
Adroit Interactive reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of this policy at any time and without notice. If we change our privacy policy, we will make every effort to post those changes in this area so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.
Opting out of Cookies
Internet Users may opt-out of receiving a unique Adroit cookie to disable unique data collection. If an Internet User opts-out, Adroit sets a cookie that is generic, the same opt-out cookie as all other users who have opted out of Adroit advertising. This generic cookie lets Adroit know you have opted out, and you will not receive any future Adroit cookies. This opt-out cookie is effective for the life of your hard drive or until you delete the cookie. If you would like to opt-out, please use the opt-out utility below.
