Position: Sr. Flash Developer
Location: Boston

Essential Duties & Responsibilites:

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Flash developer to help drive our products, define standards and just make cool stuff. Our Senior Flash Developers will be responsible for developing advertising products, with a concentration on developing high-end ActionScript code to be distributed via API and various non-traditional digital advertising products. You will also be responsible for analyzing assigned tasks, providing accurate work estimates, and managing own time and to keep development on schedule

You should also have a thorough understanding of multi-tiered Web applications with a strong understanding of Flash / Actionscript language, OOP, and Agile Development Methodologies. All of our Flash developers get their hands dirty creating various rich media interfaces, consumable code and well designed traditional programmatic projects. Those with senior skills are involved in planning, managing and mentoring.

What Were Looking For:

• Solid knowledge of ActionScript 2, ActionScript 3 and OOP concepts.
  
• Experience building data-driven Flash applications.
  
• 1-2 years of online or interactive agency experience.
  
• Creative and comfortable learning and using new technologies. Should possess strong client interaction skills.
  
• Solid understanding of the online advertising, rich media and video industries.
  
• The ability to work on other people's designs and code.
  
• An understanding of how to leverage code to minimize K weight.
  
• Experience with scripted animation techniques.
  
• Maintenance of ongoing projects
  
• Documentation of work
  
• Knowledge of databases and content management tools.
  
• Experience with version control systems (SVN).

You Get Bonus Points For:

• Experience with Flex or AIR
  
• Knowledge of Ruby on Rails
  
• Active participation in the Flash community.
