Position: Account Manager
Location: Boston or New York
Responsibilities:
- An active team member in executing the online advertising campaigns, including banner advertising, search, and on-site merchandising programs.
- Track marketing program results. Create program reports and conduct ad hoc analyses.
- Optimize online advertising campaigns based on multiple variables (e.g. images, prices, etc.).
- Manage day-to-day relationships with advertisers, web publishers, and technology partners
- Coordinate development of creative content/copy
- Develop offer matrices
Skills:
- Strong background in online marketing program definition and execution
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of third party ad serving technology (such as DART, DFA, Atlas DMT or Mediaplex)
- Working knowledge of HTML
- Ability to traffic and track campaigns
- Strong Excel (pivot tables, look ups, charts, etc.) and PowerPoint skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Access
- Excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable working with hypotheses/assumptions, then refining estimates based upon test results.
- Ability to creatively construct multiple approaches to create effective marketing results.
- Strong analytical ability and optimization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Knowledge of JavaScript, PhotoShop and rich media a plus
Education:
- 4-year college degree – preferably in mathematics, economics, computer science, marketing/business or engineering.
